You'll need:
- Your Gia dress sewing pattern
- Preferred fabric
- Color matching thread
- Sewing machine

Suggested Fabrics:
Go for Light weight or medium weight woven fabric, suitable for dresses, such as linen blends, rayon challis, lightweight cotton, cotton gauze, cotton lawn, viscose; Fabrics with a nice drape. We preffer lightweight woven fabrics and made the prototype of linen.
How much fabric do you need for your diy dress?
Keep in mind, fabric needs vary based on its width. We've based our sizes on a fabric width of 150-160cm. Always refer to the table below for the right size and fabric amount. If you're working with unique patterns or widths (like stripes or plaids), just tweak the pattern placement to fit your fabric.
Check your contraction!
Before cutting, always give your fabric a wash. This ensures a true fit, wards off any post-sew shrinkage, and rids the fabric of extra dyes, setting you up for a perfect finished piece.
