Is there anything more comforting than slipping into an oversized sweatshirt that feels like a cloud? add some extra warmth and coziness to your life. Come on, let's sew it!

You'll need:

  • Your Blanky Oversized Hoodie Pattern
  • Preferred fabric
  • Color matching thread
  • Sewing machine

Seam Allowances

  • 1 cm seam

Fabric Suggestion:

medium weight woven fabric such as a blanket

How much fabric do you need for your diy wearable blanket?

In the table below, you'll find the amount of fabric required based on a width of between 140 and 150 cm. A fabric that uses a different width or pattern - like stripes, plaids, etc - may need to be placed differently so that it fits correctly.

Check your contraction!

You can prevent an unpleasant surprise - the contraction of fabric - by adding a little steam to your fabric before cutting. By ironing your fabric at its maximum recommended heat, you can reduce the chance of your garment shrinking after its first wash.

How To Sew It
